soon...

Really really really looking forward to finishing uni ( I never thought I would ever say that!!) so I can work full time on the company. 4 out of 5 staff hired... just 1 more to go!

Wish I was in notts with Mimi, missing out on playing rounders =( in notts. Missing her too. boohoo
Her birthday soon...    gotta think of something nice to get her, this time, i won't attempt to make anything - esp after the disaster from last time (looked like something you would expect a 8 year old to come home with after an art lesson)! i'm too embarrassed to put a pic of it up -  it's the thought that counts yeh?  =p

Listening to rappers delight - sugarhill gang. What a tune to wake up to!!

Had an amazing night out the on sat, the whole house were out and sean's bro and cousin came to visit - the nicest funniest people i've met for a long time =) HENRY MISSED OUT!!!(sorry, have to rub it in!)

Fiiiinnnaaallllllllly in a proper workout routine with Adam my housemate!!( every other day!!) Thought that would be the hard part but actually sticking to it will be much tougher. I think going to nottingham for 3-4 days a week will mess it up tho >.<

Anyways time to start work - still training the new staff.

Sexytime!!

WHHOOooooOOOO getting my new laptop tomorrow! so so so so so so sexy!

Work has been intresting lately.

Our current server capacity had been reached. Renting out our own dedicated server now... mmmmm unlimited bandwidth. Wasn't as expensive as what I thought it would be, I guess prices have come down loads. I remember when they used to be 700quid per month a few years back. (dam i'm getting old!)

Hired Rajan a SEO expert and developer. I had my doubts about SEO but wow what a differance has it made. Autoadvan is now top of the second page in google for our keywords 'Japanese car auctions' and Japanese car import. Rajan reckons within 6 months all 3 sites can be in the top 3 in google for our keywords. I have never ever seen anyone so dedicated to his work. We have been using netmeeting to conferance which allows me to view his desktop. He even works so hard sometimes he forget's to take time off for lunch.

Last week I hired a sales and marketing guy Faiscal. Really creative and convincing character. Exactly what I need. He's the sort of guy that can create something from nothing - on the spot.

Today I interviewed a guy who wasn't impressive at all. Didn't have the confidence to be in sales although he did try. Maybe i'm being harsh... but he really didn't come off as they type to be able to take the initiave. He said if I hired him he'd increase my sales by many folds =) which was nice =)

Had database problems with japaneseauctions server. Should be fixed tonight (at last). It's a shame the guy who's incharge of it is only working part time cos he has a full time job. Really hard worker and not only that, the work is of really good quality.

Just when I thought staffing problems were over we need more people again. 1 fulltime programmer/developer, 1 full time creative designer/developer and 1 more fulltime sales and marketing. The outsourcing is over the moon tho as you can imagine!

Been using netmeeting to monitor employee's computers. I can see their entire desktop and what they are doing. It's supprisingly really really entertaining! Bit of a fettish methinks.

Shopping spree at all saint's today! 2 tops, pair of trousers and a jacket. grrrr went in for the sale but ended up buying the non sale stuff... watch out if you go in there - those guy's are really good at selling u stuff!!

Oh yeah... any peeps investing in the housing market?

Sacked!!!

Spent thurs - tues in Notts with Amy.

Monday, hired a new programmer into the office.

Friday, Sacked her (yup female programmer - shoulda trusted my instincts and not hired!). She spent 5 days doing fook all - My current head programmer only works 3 hours a day for me and he can do more work than her in 3 hours than she can in 1 day!

First time doing it... fun.

Taking on 2 sales people in April. Going through the cv's atm. I've already decided to hire one guy. I asked him

"what are your sales skills and why should I hire you to work for me"

He replied

"I am a persuasive speaker and I can sell ICE TO AN ESKIMO"

Confident and cocky... I like it! Exactly what is needed in a sales person.

Found another guy that had a pretty good CV with an impressive covering letter - excellent use of english. I might hire him too. Will interview him later this week.

WTF is wrong...

Flicking through the times whilst waiting for our group meeting members to turn up I came across this:

Taken from The Times 9 March 2006

'The church of Dublin said that 102 of its priests - more than 3.5 percent of the total - are suspected of abusing at least 350 children since 1940, the largest such number acknowledged in the Irish Republic.'

The national figure amongst the population must be under 0.01%.

Send u'r kids to church to be a choir boy and there is a 3.5% chance the priest is a kiddy fiddler - great!

Does anyone else think 3.5% is a little high? To put that into context, that's one in every thirty.

In the Guardian they reckon that the actual figure is much higher. The church of england is a rich institution. They give land to the parents and the kids to shut them up and stop them going to the press.

How fooked up is that?

Chav Scum! Bunch of *(#*$@

Some chav broke into my car (smashed window)!!

Assholes!!

The delinquant Spackers only stole a load of friggin chinese MP3's and hardcore hiphop tunes - I hope they like Jay Chou.

I propose a screening process at birth where pregnant mothers are tested for the 'chav' gene. If the test proves positive, abortion should be compulsary.

If I catch the fucker i'm going to lock him in my room and make hand him my law statute book where he will copy out the criminal law act 1997 onto his body in marker pen (all 100+ pages of it) - I will then strip him and throw him out of my window.

What a bunch of fuckwits - still - I shall be forever smug in the knowledge that they will never ever be able to buy one...

Surely natrual selection should have eliminated these people from society by now.

If you see people that look like this, please proceed to give them a beating - wepeons allowed.
How do you spot one?

Often living on council estates they look like this (all slightly deformed due to inbreading):-

Ho an fun ar!!

Bloody hell - 9 AM...

Just got off phone with Kchung chatting about our business! I don't think I've ever spoken to a guy for that long before (no gayness involved b4 u ask, already have a wife and Kchung is obviously madly in love with auntie Donna).

I’m so shit at making stuff (excuse my french) and I’m expected to make a gift for valentines day >.<  I’m a dead man. Got a few ideas but they ain’t easy to pull off! poopypoopypoop...

Philosophising yesterday, I ended up writing a blog on the meaning of life and the rat race in its relation to religion which ended up being potentially extremely offensive so I never posted it - Perhaps when I’m in a feistier mood.

Uploaded some pics in profile from a very drunk nite out with housemates + henry… Enjoy!

Nite nite y’all

THREE!!!! THREE!!! THREE!!!

THHHHHRRRREEeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! not one... not two... but THREE!!!!three whole hours, 180 mins or 10800 seconds ... (yup i've gone mad!) I was stuck in traffic coming home from leicester (ok not really home, Nottingham - might as well be, spent the last 5 days here haha).

I thought: ' ah i'll call people to cure my boredom'. MY PHONE DECIDED TO STOP WORKING! FFS!

Me and K chung going into a business venture together. First business meeting today haha! We are going to fill eachothers pockets with $$$$$ ( yes it is perfectly legit before you ask!). It's a yellow man's world out there!

Blah on the topic of work, my worker is leaving in April so I have to search for another. I've decided to outsource the work abroad. Yesterday, I put a advert online and had 50 applications within the first 3 hours, some of which wayyyy overly qualified - I'm gonna have fun screening these! More on that later.... time to eat. We ordered Chinese today cos bb is too lazy to cook (speaking of yummy food, go see Claire's blog - pic of an amazing cheesecake she made for us mmmMMMmmmm) .

Wow... 10:30 =) The world has turned inside out!

Amazing, 10:30AM and i'm awake - what is the world comming to? haha

Had a cold of the past few days (dammit *cough cough*) but feel a zillion times better now. Been having some wierd wierd dreams, bits and bobs from the past and strangely enough a big steinway piano was in my dream too! (good in a way cos it really puts things into perspective and when analyzing, I can see how different my mindset used to be - character forming? perhaps). Well i'm sure its over now... along with my cold *yay!*...

Ok think i'm in the routine now of working out every other day - girlfriend nagging helps alot too haha but its good, keep it up sweetie it gets me motivated. Was in a routine before we were together actually so some good reverse psychology by Mimi (not as mongish as she looks eh?). However, having said that I found the only way to get into a real routine is to create the mental frame of 'doing it for yourself' - there is simply no other way! For me anyway!

Goals for today:

To town for lunch with friend.

Hair cut (still contemplating if is should get it shaved... JUST to see the reaction on Amy's face - so tempting... ooooo so tempting).

learn and memorise the few bars of Rachninnov's prelude in G minor that has been pissing me off for the past 2 months (haha yeh yeh i know i'm crap, but u sud see the music... it's just one huge mass of black ink!)

Complete business report for bank... grrr those things are annoying (getting business valuated next week). I don't have to do it, but i'm interested in seeing what the past 4 years of work has amounted to; with the dotcom industry's bubble burst and with my business being 100% tangible, I won't keep my hopes up - still be interested to find out.

Go see my baby and spend the week together! Really miss her - spent the last week apart, longest we've not seen eachother. The whole concept of spending 3-4 days a week with my GF is starting to seem less surreal and more like the norm - used to have real trouble getting my head round it!

Enough blogging.... on with the day!

p.s
o yeah the blogging features on friendster r crap! pitiful post retension and not enough functionality. Could move it to xanga but never really liked it (too common?)... when I get time i'm gonna make my own!

Random Random Random

I just got back from a night out, girlfriend is sleeping so I can’t call and there is far too much alcohol in my system so I’m going to ramble on for a bit.

Not updated my blog for a while… i blame mimi – she takes up all my spare time (and I’m pretty she’s going mad, see her latest testimonial to me… yes babe, u’r a shoe…. And I’m a shoe too!!).

X-mas is over! In my opinion it is the most overrated day of the year. Still, nice for kids and brings the family together. I feel its done for traditions sake more than anything (unless you are religious of course). I spent my X-mas at church (keeps folks very happy and only once a year, just grit teeth, grin and bear it!). I mean… seriously – I’m 23 now, do I REALLY need to hear the religious X-mas story for the 500000th million time?  After the 4 hour sermon (Yawn) we had X-mas dinner (now we’re talking!).It felt kinda surreal catching up with some old friends – people I once had lots in common seem really distant now. I suppose it’s because everyone has taken different paths in life; changing them as people so you might not be able to relate to them in the same way you used to.

Ooooo me and Jackie decided to go back packing this summer… (A tenner says she won’t be able to hack it and will back out!). Really want to do it personally. I would love to travel and visit obscure places in the world – would be an adventure and plus we are young – we should do these things, if you don’t do it now then you will never do it.

Never have been a huge fan of new years – a time to drink copious amounts of alcohol and party till the break of dawn. I don’t understand, if I wanted to do that then I would do it anyway, regardless of date (I suppose it’s different if you are working 9 – 5 like the majority of people out there). Despite this, new year celebrations were a blast. Big house party round mine and about 30 people turned up form all over the

UK

although the

Liverpool

crowd seemed to dominate. Free flowing alcohol and extremely vindictive drinking games ensured sobriety was thrown out of the window within the first few hours.  We managed to make a massive hole into a wall in the house too which is always a sign of a good party (shit!!!! Bye bye deposits!)! At the end of the night, I stumbled back to my room for bed only to be woken up. A random girl was throwing up into the bucket left outside my room at 6:00AM (why there was a bucket outside my room I will never know) – it was not the most pleasant of sounds to wake up to. 3 days and we still haven’t cleaned up after the party! Our living room looks like world war 3 had just taken place and the kitchen will get rats if nothing is done… looks like tomorrow is going to be a tidy-up day for us.

My work load has been heavy over the festive season since employees are off leaving all the emails and sales to me… how fun… NOT! New website is launching in the next week which I’m really excited about – loads of community tools and a new approach that side of the business. Can’t wait to see how it works out but more importantly, Can’t wait for staff to return to work…

I miss my baby... been chatting every night till we fall asleep. Sweet isn’t it? But wait till the phone bill comes – won’t be so sweet then! I stayed at Amy’s parent’s house for the first time – felt uncomfortable at first but I have to say they are the coolest parents EVER. Everything is going so well right now; feels like I’m in my ideal relationship and the important things are exactly the way I want them. I’m with the most understanding, sweetest, patient and last but not least sexiest girlfriend a guy can ever ask for (I think I’ll stop before I give her a big head!).

Slightly worried about mimi’s ability to kick ass on puzzle bobble… I mean REALLY kick ass…(beginners luck!)!

Off to see my mong princess for a few days on weds or thurs because apparently according to her the last time didn’t count because I only stayed one night… hehe don’t you just love the logic that goes on inside the mind of mimi?

Sleepy head…

Bedtime!!

Nite nite y’all.

YYYYYYYYYEEEEEEEEEAAAAAHHHH!!!!

My life is now complete - I have:

The best, most sexiest GF in the world
A Car that makes deep growling noises
Bachelor's pad (very soon!)

and most importantly....

today I got an XBOX 360!!! WHOOOOOOooooo! Stood outside in the freezing cold for 2 hours waiting for shop to open (how sad am I?) - there were only 20 of them and about 50 people outside! It was complete chaos whilst everyone raided the shop looking for them (anyone seen last action hero?).

Off to have sexy time with my XBOX now... hehe cya!
